Angela (designer) & Kevin (contractor) remodelled my two bathrooms including building a shower stall to replace the tub insert and providing custom vanities. Angela worked with me on the design and was amazing. She’s very responsive, has a great design sense, and coordinated my ideas impeccably. Kevin executed the design and was phenomenal. He did everything other than building the custom vanities. Kevin’s tile work is perfectly aligned, the shower stall looks amazing, and he ensured that the entire project was completed to his high standards. They also did a few other custom projects during the reno to add closet doors and a dishwasher. I am so pleased with the design and quality of the install. We're extremely pleased with the bathroom reno done by Skyline Construction. Kevin and Nick were friendly, professional and worked tirelessly to get the work completed in 7 days. The entire experience was positive and we would definitely call them again for another job.

We had Kevin and Nick renovate our main bathroom. They finished yesterday. After several quotes, they were in par with other companies. The renovation was basically a complete gut of the bathroom including new bathtub, shower, vanity, toilet, flooring, mirror, painting and accessories. Plumbing and electrical were also required. They were professional, helpful, patient and on time from the moment of contact. Kevin made suggestions to us about design during the process and we are beyond satisfied. Both Kevin and Nick were friendly every day, diligent and were very concerned of our satisfaction. We could not be more pleased. We also had several conversations with Jennifer in their office and she was friendly and helpful at all times. We highly recommend this company and will definitely be contacting them in the future for further renovations.

We had our basement remodeled and renovated by Skyline team last October. We finished our reck room and added a small kitchen plus upgrading our half bath to a full one. It was a big project and we were worried about it as we were new comers to Canada and we’re not familiar with the construction quotes and standards in here. We were spending a big money and needed to have work with a reliable group. Since they started the job till the end date, for 2 months, we enjoyed having them in our house and doing business with them. Not only they are professionals who care about details, they were also sharp, caring and flexible to all our needs, concerns and questions. After getting different quotes, We could find out that they didn’t want to take advantage from us but do a good and acceptable job which benefits both sides. They did the best quality job matching our budget and didn’t let us waste money on unnecessary things. Their friendly and caring behavior made us trust on them, and we could have this project done much smoother and easier than expected. So happy with all the team specially Eric and Wayne. They are highly recommended.

When I find something that works, I tend to stick with it. Finding Skyline Construction was sort of like getting set up on a blind date. Didn't know what I was going to get into, yet everything worked out well. Started out having a bathroom retiled and then moved on to having a very large deck removed and rebuilt. Dealt with John and was led through the process without any problems that could not be dealt with. He had some great suggestions about the style of construction and I deferred to his judgement. Trevor and his crew worked hard through two days of heat and humidity and finished the job. It was a pleasure dealing with people who were polite, professional, tidy and knowledgeable about everything from lumber to building codes. Grew up in a trades family and so I know the difference between great and mediocre. Mediocre may be cheaper, yet it is not going to last, at least not in the long run. From start to finish, I can only give praise to the workers and management of this company who did outstanding work. Honestly thought that the job would take a lot longer than it did and was very impressed by the skill and speed of the entire process. Skyline Construction completed a week-long bathroom reno for my wife and I yesterday (July 26, 2022)....took out the tub and toilet and installed a walk-in shower, new flooring and new toilet. What a great job !!! Wayne (the main installer) was very professional, skilled, and above all, he took everything he did personally to ensure that we got the best work and advice. He even came in on his own time to make sure the job was completed to our (and his) total satisfaction. The level of committment and diligence he showed us is rarely seen in today's service sector. Kudos also to Kevin (who also installed our hardwood flooring last year) and the others who assisted where needed. The level of service Skyline gave us was "second to none". Hired this company to redo a master bathroom. I was incredibly impressed with the work from start to finish. Kevin, the company's tiler was phenomenal. He was on time, called to keep me informed of schedule and was dilligent. I have seen many trades people as a technical school teacher. It takes a lot to impress me and I am impressed. Would hire this company for other work in the future and would highly recommend them. Good local company, friendly sales and technicians. Removed combo oil boiler and replaced with electric and electric hot water tank. Electric boiler as my backup to heat pumps. Worked with me on scheduling with an electrical upgrade delays, properly sizing the unit. Discovered what could have been a major wiring issue on install day and worked with another company to resolve that morning. The owner even personally got involved to reassure which was much appreciated. Everything went smooth despite inexecpected and the installers were respectful pros. Would recommend them!

After many months of dealing with Nova Scotia Power over the 100 - 200 amperage and with no solution ,we decided to go with a Mini -Split System 100 amp. with Halifax Heat Pumps & Electrical . Contacted Halifax Heat pumps regarding a boiler replacement for our 5 zone Baseboard Radiant Hot Water system. Met with Brett McGuiness and pulled together a solution to clean-up the 25+ year old boiler, and move our domestic hot water from the boiler to a Domestic Hotwater tank. We leveraged their Electricians to upgrade our panel to 100a to 200a, to get ready for solar, and down the road EV. Couldn’t be happier with the work completed by their team, and the two days, was very efficient, they were well prepared, and took care when in our home. When they left, it was clean, they took care to think to economize the space, and knowledge transfer to me so I knew the New Electric Boiler properties. Great service, great people, very happy home owners. Attached are Photo’s from the before and after. Love the fact that we have moved the boiler from the floor to a wall mount solution.

The whole team at Halifax Heat were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and great to work with when I decided to get heat pumps installed. Brett came twice to provide different quotes to ensure I had what I needed to apply for the Greener Homes Loan. The team of Jordon, Kyle and Victoria who were on site for the install reviewed what I needed and worked to get the job done! I was unable to be there to have them review the working of the units before they left but they sent out Nick H to ensure I knew how to operate. The staff at Halifax Heat Pumps & Electrical have been excellent to work with. We have worked with them a number of times now. They are thorough, knowledgable, and their customer service is top notch. We had a tricky problem with a Samsung heat pump (which this company does not install or typically service) and both David and Nick were more than happy to work with us to resolve it, despite it being a massive headache. At the initial service call, the problem could not be diagnosed, to no fault of their own, and Nick was so reasonable about not over charging us. I have nothing but good things to say about them. If you need your heat pump serviced, call them! You won't regret it.

Had a great experience with this team. very professional and proficient. Had our oil furnace replaced with an electric boiler and had a heat pump with 3 heads installed all in 1 day. Came on time at 8am and left by 3pm. explained all the equipment and left a clean site. Loving our a/c in this summer heat!!

Salesman Brett was perfect, broke everything down for me including the rebates I would receive. The folks that did all the install were truly amazing. I work with trades people for my job, I respect these people more than any other profession, these folks were among the best I have ever worked with. And a final shout out to Matt, always kept me up to date on changes etc. truly a great experience from start to finish. Also I LOVE my heat pump, works like a charm and I am off oil!

Amazing service!!. Called approx 2 hours ago. Show within a half hour and diagnosed a central heat blower fan issue. In anticipation that there wouldn't be any replacement in stock locally the tech(sorry forget the name) when to the shop and found exactly what i needed. Eric and his team installed our heat pump back in October 2020. In March 2022, and also October 2023, I scheduled heat pump cleaning with them. Even though different technicians came each time, they've all been so professional, pleasant, polite and clean. They don't leave a mess after they leave. We've been so happy with the team.
