Got Questions? We Got Answers.
Can indoor air quality systems integrate with my existing HVAC?
Yes. Most indoor air quality systems—including air purifiers, MERV filters, humidity controls, and monitoring devices—are designed to integrate directly with your existing HVAC equipment. Whether you have a central ducted system or a ductless setup, we can install IAQ solutions that work seamlessly with your current heating and cooling system without major modifications.
How often should I replace MERV filters?
It depends on the MERV rating and your home environment, but most should be replaced every 3 to 6 months.
Higher-MERV filters (MERV 13–16) capture finer particles and may need replacement more frequently, especially in homes with pets, allergies, or high dust levels. During peak allergy seasons, replacing filters sooner can improve air quality and system performance.
What’s the difference between standard filtration and the PureAir™ S system?
Standard filtration (even with higher MERV ratings) mainly captures particles such as dust, pollen, dander, and some bacteria.
PureAir™ S, however, goes far beyond standard filtration by providing three types of protection:
- Particle removal (dust, pollen, dander, smoke, bacteria)
- Chemical & VOC removal (cleaning products, paints, odors, off-gassing)
- Airborne pathogen neutralization (bacteria, mold spores, viruses)
PureAir S also integrates with Lennox smart thermostats to provide real-time air quality reporting, something standard filters can’t do.
Can IAQ systems monitor bacteria and particulate matter in real time?
Yes. Advanced IAQ systems—especially when paired with compatible Lennox thermostats or air quality sensors—can monitor bacteria levels, VOCs, humidity, CO₂, and multiple particulate sizes (PM1, PM2.5, PM10) in real time.
Systems like PureAir™ S use this data to automatically adjust purification levels and help maintain cleaner, healthier indoor air.
